Healthcare Provider CPR
This course,
taught by American Heart Association BLS Instructors, is designed to
teach CPR skills for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a
barrier device and a bag-mask device), use of Automated External
Defibrillator (AED), and relief of Choking (foreign-body airway
obstruction) to Healthcare Providers. The textbook is optional.
Completion cards will be issued to those who successfully complete this
course.

Healthcare Provider CPR Renewal
The
Healthcare Provider Renewal course, taught by American Heart Association
BLS Instructors, is designed to update those individuals holding a
current Healthcare Provider CPR card and who feel confident with their
CPR skills.

Online review
and testing is available anytime through the American Heart Association.
The participant will be given a “key” to access the Renewal website. A
Skills Demonstration is necessary for completion (after online testing
is successful) and an appointment with the Training Center is scheduled

Cancellation/Transfer Policy
A $10 fee will be charged for all
refunds or course transfers.
A refund will not be available if
cancellation occurs within five (5) days of the program. The College
reserves the right to cancel any course if enrollment does not meet
minimum registration requirements. If a course is cancelled by the
College, and transfer to another course is desired, no transfer fee will
be charged.

The AHA strongly promotes knowledge and
proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional
materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational
course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA, and any fees
charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
