ADMISSION TO THE
DIVISION OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Arts and Sciences
courses are offered in the fall, spring and summer semesters. Interested
persons should submit applications in the early spring for the summer
and fall semesters, and in the early fall for the spring semester. Applications
will be accepted until the week prior to the beginning of the semester.
Your application will be
acted upon when all required information and documentation is
received in the Admissions Office. Partially completed applications
cannot be acted upon.
To enroll in arts and
sciences courses offered by Our Lady of the Lake College, the applicant
must meet the admission requirements and submit the following:
I.
A completed application for admission and the $ 35.00
non-refundable application fee.
II. A completed Proof
of Immunization Compliance form.
III. Official
transcripts/test scores.
A. Freshmen
applicants (applicants
who have never attended a regionally accredited college or university)
must submit:

Official, final high
school transcript or General Education Development (GED) scores.

ACT scores.
B. Transfer
applicants (an
applicant who has attended a regionally accredited college or
university):
-
Official, final high school
transcripts or General Education Development (GED) scores.
ACT
scores.
Official transcripts from all
previously attended college/university. The applicant must make
arrangements with the college/university to send the transcripts
to the Admissions Office. Transcripts must be sent from each
institution regardless of whether or not transfer credit is
desired.
C.
Re-Entry applicants (an
applicant who has previously attended OLOL College):

transcripts from all previously attended college/university. The
applicant must make arrangements with the college/university to
send the transcripts to the Admissions Office. Transcripts must be
sent from each institution regardless of whether or not transfer
credit is desired.
If
re-entry applicant sat out only 1 spring or fall semester, transcripts
are not required with application.

Program brochure for a complete listing of admission and program
requirements. Admission to the College as an arts and sciences student
does not guarantee enrollment in selected courses or acceptance into the
degree/certificate programs. Enrollment in each course is limited.

TEXTBOOKS:
Textbooks are available for purchase from the Chimes Medical Bookstore
(located on campus).
IMMUNIZATION POLICY:
The applicant must submit proof of Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and
Tetanus/Diphtheria immunization as described under the Immunization
Policy (see downloadable
Immunization form) with application.
ACCREDITATION/MEMBERSHIP:
Our Lady of the Lake College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges
of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the
Associate and Bachelor Degree. |
