Associate
of Science
Arts
and Science Program
Our
Lady of the Lake College’s Associate of Science Degree Program within
the Division of Arts and Sciences is designed to help students gain
knowledge essential and applicable to further study and careers in the
sciences, health-related professions, social sciences or humanities.
The Associate of Science Degree promotes academic, personal and
professional growth and the continuation of higher education and
scholarly pursuits.
CURRICULUM
The
Associate of Science Degree Program within the Division of Arts and
Sciences consists of 63 credit hours and covers a broad range of arts
and sciences coursework.
ADMISSION
All
applicants should meet the following minimum requirements for admission
to the program:

High
school diploma with minimum grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
or better or the equivalent of a high school diploma (General Education
Development) with an average score of 50 or better.

Achievement
of a minimum ACT composite score of 20. Only applicants who have
been out of high school less than five years are required to submit an
ACT score.

If last
enrolled in good standing, will be re-admitted on either full acceptance
or provisional status.

If
on probation when last enrolled, will be re-admitted on probation.

If on
suspension when last enrolled, application will be reviewed and
admission determined by the Director of Arts and Sciences.
Our
Lady of the Lake College welcomes applications from all qualified
individuals. All transcripts are reviewed on an individual basis,
according to College policy, in order to determine eligibility and
placement in the program. Equal educational opportunities are
offered to all who meet entrance requirements, without regard to race,
gender, ethnicity, creed, marital status or age.
ENROLLMENT
Applications
are accepted at any time throughout the year, up until the week prior to
the beginning of a semester. However, in order to ensure timely
processing, submissions should be made in the early spring for the
summer and fall semesters, and in the early fall for the spring

AID
The
Our Lady of the Lake College
Student
Financial Aid Office is available to all applicants to discuss
eligibility for financial assistance. Please call (225) 768-1714
to schedule an appointment.
Applicants
are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) form. Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical center also
offers tuition reimbursement to qualifying employees.
