Click on a question below to read the answer:

      Q.   I have just been accepted to OLOL College. When will my E-mail account be created?

      A.   Your E-mail and Blackboard accounts will be created during the registration period for the semester in which you are entering if your fees have been paid to the College Business Office. When your accounts are created, a letter will be mailed to your home containing your login information and instructions.

      Q.    How do I set up my E-mail account?

      A.    Please refer to the detailed First-Time User Instructions posted on the Student E-mail login page.

      Q.    I get a message "invalid parameter" when trying to setup my password?

      A.    Make sure you are entering your account correctly: Account = OLOL Collegeollege\xxxx  (xxxx = your username).  Also, be sure to use the \ key located above the Enter key on the keyboard.  For example:  OLOL Collegeollege\johndoe

      Q.    What is my password?

      A.    If you are a first-time user, you do not have a password. Please refer to the detailed First-Time User Instructions posted on the Student E-mail login page. If you have forgotten your password, please see the next question below.

      Q.   I forgot my password can you send it to me?

      A.    No -- we have no way of looking up the password that you created. If you cannot remember your password, you will need to visit the Administration Building at 7434 Perkins Rd. to have your password reset -- you must do this in person and bring your school picture ID or driver's license.

      Q.  How do I change my password?

      A.  If you have forgotten your password and need to have it reset, please see the previous question. If you know your current password and just want to change it, follow these directions:

1) Log into your account.

2) Click on "Options" located on the bottom left side of your screen.

3) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Change Password" button.

4) Enter OLOL Collegeollege as the "Domain", enter your username as the "Account" (ex. johndoe), enter your old password in the "Old Password" box, and then enter your new password in the "New Password" and "Confirm Password" boxes. Your new password should be at least 5 characters long.

5) Click OK. You may log out and then log back in with your new password.

      Q.  What is the domain?

      A.  A domain is no longer required to login to your e-mail account. The only information you need is your username and password.

QIt won’t take my password, what do I do?

      A.  Check the Caps Lock key.  Passwords are case sensitive.  Also, check that your username is entered correctly.

      Q.  I can't send e-mail and I keep getting a message that says my mailbox has reached its storage limit. What do I do?

      A.  First, delete any unwanted e-mail from your Inbox, Sent and Draft folders (you can see these folders on the left side of the window under the Outlook logo.) Be sure to delete any items with attachments, such as photos, because these items are too big to be stored in your mailbox. After you have deleted all unwanted items, click on the "Deleted Items" folder. Next, click on the garbage can icon located on the toolbar to clean out this folder. All deleted items go into this folder so it is important to clean it out periodically. You mailbox should now be under the size limit and you should able to send e-mail.

      Q.  I have done everything right and it still doesn’t work. Now what?

AIf you still need help, please write to the E-mail Administrator at emailadministrator@ololcollege.edu. Include as much detail as possible about your problem, what you are typing into each field, and the error message you are getting.
