Health Sciences Program
Our Lady of the Lake
College’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences is offered to
allow students who have received an associate degree in a healthcare program
to obtain the baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degree. All coursework
completed in the associate degree program counts toward the bachelor’s
degree, regardless of the clinical program completed.
CURRICULUM
The Bachelor of Science
in Health Sciences curriculum varies in length, depending on the number of
credit hours earned at the associate degree level. Students will be awarded
up to seventy-five credits for their associate degree in pursuit of the
baccalaureate degree.
ADMISSION
All applicants should
meet the following minimum requirements for admission to the program:
· Associate
of Science degree in nursing or an allied health field from a regionally
accredited post-secondary institution.

Completion of all core courses (34 credit hours.)
· Minimum
of 120 credit hours (to complete the program.)
·
Residency. Last 30 hours of credit completed at OLOL College.
ENROLLMENT
Students with an
associate of science degree in an allied health field from a regionally
accredited post-secondary institution are qualified for entry into the
Health Sciences Program. Enrollment may occur at the beginning of any
semester, any students may enroll on a part-time or full-time basis. Call

Our Lady of the Lake

transcripts are reviewed on an individual basis, according to College
policy, in order to determine eligibility and placement in the program.

College
Student Financial Aid Office is available to all applicants to

Applicants are
encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
form. Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center also offers generous
tuition reimbursement to qualifying employees.
