Purpose:
- Oversees the registration process by which students
select classes each term
- Pre-registration booklets are available in
mid-February for the Summer and Fall semesters
- Pre-registration booklets are available in
mid-October for the Spring semester
- Add and Drop Period held the first week of
classes
- Withdrawal and Resignation deadlines are
published in the Pre-registration booklets
- Maintains student records
- Student educational records may be viewed in the
Administration Building
- Facilitates the college catalog publication
- The catalog draft is sent to Directors, Deans,
Vice Presidents and President in Word format for modifications
during the spring semester
- Provides and maintains grade information
- The following forms are available from the
Registrar's office: Mid-semester Grade Rosters, Final Grade
Rosters, Change of Grade, and the Incomplete Grade Request
- An "I" grade which has not been
resolved by the first day of class of the next semester (including
summer and whether or not the student intends to enroll) will be
changed automatically to and "F".
- Students are mailed Mid-term Status Reports from
the Office of Registrar after the 8th week of spring
and fall semesters and the 4th week of the summer
session.
- Mid-semester Status and Academic Status reports
are provide for Directors, Deans Vice Presidents and President
- Updates student information in the AREV Student
Information System
- Enters transfer credit
- A list of course translations are available
- Updates student course schedules
- Add/drops
- Withdrawals

- F8] Refresh display/ clear screen
- [F9] SAVE!!!! Saves current window. May
also function as a 'go ahead' or
'OK' key. Or, using the mouse, click on <save> in the status
line.
- NEVER SELECT [F9] TO CORRECT AN ERROR. PRESS
[ESC]
- [Alt-F] Next record forward - or click on the
> symbol in the status line
showing the number of records. <001/005> indicates you are
on the
first of 5 records
- [Alt-B] Next record backward - or click on the,
symbol in the status line.
