Our Lady of the Lake College is a member of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and is exempt from registration and licensure by the Louisiana Board of Regents as established by the Louisiana State Legislature in RS.17:1808 and is recognized as an "eligible institution" under the provisions of RS.17:2053 (D).

The Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSNA) Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. The MSNA program is fully approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and holds accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
The Master of Science in Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
The Physician Assistant Studies Program holds provisional accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
The Health Service Administration Program is certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and holds accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
The Physical Therapist Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.
The Radiologic Technology Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and holds approval from the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
The Respiratory Therapy Program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) in collaboration with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
The Associate of Science is Nursing (ASN) program is in the process of being phased out and applicants are not longer being accepted. The last date of degree conferral for ASN students is August 1, 2014. The Practical Nursing Program is approved by Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners (LSBPNE).
The Continuing Education Program is approved by the Louisiana State Nurses Association and the American Nurses Credentialing Center Accreditation Program.
