The minor in philosophy gives students the opportunity to enrich their thinking through the cultivation of critical methods and the exploration of momentous questions.
To receive a minor in philosophy, students must earn a C or better in 15 hours of course work as outlined below.
- PHIL 1310: Introduction to Philosophy (3 hrs)
- PHIL 2310: Logic and Critical Thinking (3 hrs)
- PHIL electives (6 hrs)
- PHIL 3000 or 4000 level elective (3 hrs)
