Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is offering a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences (MSNS). The MSNS program is designed with two options:
Dietetic Internship (DI)
The DI is for students seeking to become registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN). In addition to completing the MSNS degree, students complete 1524 hours of supervised practice in areas of clinical nutrition, foodservice management, community nutrition, business, research and continuing education as well as a Capstone Nutrition Research Project. This degree has a total of 36 credit hours. The Thesis is for students who are already RDNs seeking a master’s degree, or students who are not seeking RDN status but wish to pursue a master’s degree in nutritional sciences. Students complete all coursework online and submit a thesis for a total of 30 credit hours.
