Personal Counseling

Compassionate, Assessment, Reinforcement and Encouragement
       for Students

The Office of Counseling Services, housed under Student Services, staffs Licensed Professional Counselors.  These counselors provide assistance, support, assessment of problems, and referrals via Employee Assistance Programs for all Our Lady of the Lake College students’ mental health needs and/or other personal counseling issues (at no cost to the student). 

Individual Counseling (at no cost to the student)

  • Interpersonal relationship
  • Communication concerns
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Grief and loss
  • Financial issues
  • Anger management
  • Conflict management
  • School and/or work problems
  • Other issues may be discussed with a counselor

Our services are in accordance with the American Counseling Association Guidelines.  Counseling records are not part of any other College records, and we require a signed release to release any information.
